Since 1995 Probici offers mountain biking to foreign tourists in Chimborazo Province and Ecuador. When legally constituted as Tour Operator in the year 2000, it changed its name to Ciclotur Cía. Ltda.

Since 1998 Probici–Ciclotur appears recommended on several travel guidebooks like Lonely Planet, Ecuador & Galapagos Handbook, South American Handbook, Let´s Go Ecuador, Moon Travel Handbook, The Rough Guide to Ecuador, Müller Verlag, Traveler´s Ecuador Companion, Le Guide du Routard, Le Petit Futé and others.
